Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Radyant Digital GmbH, Krausenstr. 9–10, 10117 Berlin, Germany. Managing director: Niklas Buschner. Contact for privacy questions: hello@radyant.io.

2. Visiting the website

The site runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany) in the EU. When you open a page, the server processes the data your browser sends with every request: IP address, time, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the page and to keep the service secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

To load faster, rendered pages are kept in a cache on the same infrastructure. The cache holds pages, not data about you.

3. Web analytics

We measure reach with our own analytics tool, which Radyant runs for its own websites. It sets no cookies and cannot recognise you on another day or on another website.

It processes the page you view, the page you came from, screen size, browser language, an approximate location derived from your IP address (country, region, city), and clicks on outbound links and file downloads, including clicks on vendor links on this site. Your IP address is used only while the request is handled and is not stored. To count visits, a visitor ID is formed from a hash of IP address, browser identifier, domain and a random value that is replaced every day and deleted after 24 hours. Once it is deleted, the ID can no longer be traced back to anyone.

While a browser tab is open, the script also keeps the list of pages viewed in that tab in your browser's session storage. It is deleted when you close the tab and leaves your browser only when you book an appointment with Radyant through an embedded booking form; this site has none.

The tool is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA); the data is stored with Neon Inc. on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used and where visitors come from (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Once the daily random value is deleted, what remains are statistics that can no longer be linked to anyone; we keep them without a time limit.

Exclude this browser from analytics

4. Claiming a vendor profile and submitting evidence

If you claim a vendor's profile, we process the email address you enter and send it a one-time link. If the address is on the vendor's own domain, the link is sent automatically. Otherwise our team checks the request first and receives your address by email for that purpose.

Through the link you can submit evidence (a web address and a note) for information on the profile. We check it ourselves before anything on the site changes. We store your address, the vendor, the time of the request and what you submit.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in making sure only the vendor can claim its profile). We delete this data at the end of the third year after your last contact with us, the regular limitation period for claims (§§ 195, 199 German Civil Code).

5. Emails to us

Email to addresses at tech-from-europe.eu is received by our email provider Lettermint and stored in our database: sender name and address, subject and text.

An automated system sorts each message (for example correction, press enquiry, spam) and summarises it in one sentence. For this, the content is processed by Mistral AI (Paris, France). The sender address and the summary are passed to our team in an internal Slack channel (Slack Technologies, USA). If you write as a vendor, you may receive an automatic confirmation. If you ask us to stop contacting you, that is applied automatically.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling and answering your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract. We delete messages at the end of the third year after your last contact with us, the regular limitation period for claims (§§ 195, 199 German Civil Code).

6. Emails we send to listed vendors

We tell the European companies we list about their profile by email, so they can correct what we publish. We use only a contact address the company publishes on its own website (for example its imprint or contact page), and never addresses meant for data protection, legal or security matters. Each company receives at most one notice and one follow-up. We store the address, the content and the delivery status of each mail. Mails are sent through Lettermint.

If you reply “stop” or use the unsubscribe link, we will not contact your company's domain again. To make sure of that, we keep the domain (not your address) on a block list.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the published information accurate and giving the company a way to correct it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time (see section 10). We delete the address and the content of the mail at the end of the third year after the last contact; we keep the company's domain and the date, so we never write to the same company twice.

7. Vendor and affiliate links

Some “visit website” buttons on product pages are affiliate links, marked with an asterisk (*). They lead through a tracking address of the vendor's affiliate network (currently PartnerStack) to the vendor's website. When you click, the network and the vendor process data such as your IP address and may set cookies to attribute a purchase to us. They do so under their own responsibility and privacy policies.

We add only an identifier of the product page the click came from (sid=…), no data about you, and receive aggregated commission reports only. Affiliate links have no effect on whether or where a product is listed.

How we rank and how we earn money

8. Recipients and processors

We use the following service providers. Each receives only the data it needs for its task:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: hosting, database, page cache
  • Lettermint, Netherlands: sending and receiving email
  • Mistral AI, France: automated sorting and summarising of incoming email
  • Vercel Inc., USA, and Neon Inc., USA (servers in Frankfurt): web analytics
  • Slack Technologies, USA: internal team notifications
  • Google Ireland Ltd.: our team's mailbox (Google Workspace)

9. Transfers outside the EU

Vercel, Neon, Slack and Google are US companies or belong to US groups, so data may be transferred to the USA. Vercel, Google and Slack (through Salesforce) are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Neon relies on it; transfers to them are therefore based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Where a transfer is not covered by it, the EU standard contractual clauses in our data processing agreements apply (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

10. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Right to object: where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You can object to emails to your company at any time, without giving reasons. A message to hello@radyant.io is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
