The Built in Europe badge
Every European vendor we list can display a badge on their own site. It is free, it is available to every listed vendor, and it has no bearing on where a product appears in any of our lists.
Two variants
What the badge rests on
Two things we check. First, that the company is headquartered in the EU, EEA, EFTA or the UK β this is our inclusion criterion, and a product whose headquarters we cannot establish is not listed and gets no badge. Second, the compliance claims on the vendor's profile, each verified against a public source that resolved on the date shown. The year on the badge is the date we last checked, not the current year, so it cannot quietly age.
It is not a trade
We do not ask for a link in return, we do not check whether you linked us, and using the badge changes nothing about your listing, your position in a list, or how we describe you. Where a commercial relationship can affect the order of a list, we say so on our transparency page, which is linked from every list. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
How to embed it
Copy the snippet from your product page β it is directly below your trust profile β and paste it wherever you show third-party marks. The badge is a plain SVG served from our domain: no JavaScript, no cookies, no tracking of your visitors, and it works inside any content security policy.
The badge is issued to the vendor rather than left in public: claim your profile with a work email and we send you the artwork, the embed code and a form for correcting anything we got wrong.
Find your product and claim it βWhere vendors put it
Usually the pricing page, the footer, or a security and compliance page β anywhere a prospective customer is weighing whether your data stays in Europe.
If something is wrong
Write to hello@tech-from-europe.eu with a public link and we will re-check it. Corrections are the reason we publish the source and the date for every claim.
